Thais (Thalessa) tuberosa, common name : the Knobbed Rock Shell, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

Description

The size of an adult shell varies between 17 mm and 50 mm.

Distribution

This species is distributed in the Indian Ocean along Madagascar and Tanzania; in the Southwest and the Center of the Pacific Ocean.
